How to Care for Fremarc Furniture

The following are tips on how to care for your Fremarc Designs Furniture:

-For distressed furniture, simply dust regularly with a dampened soft cloth and dry completely with another clean cloth. 

-Always rub with with grain of the wood.

-For non-distressed furniture, polish the furniture with carnuba-based wax every two or three months.  Apply it in a thin even coat using a dry cloth, rubbing with the grain of the wood.  Buff with a dry cloth while wax is still moist for a lustrous finish.

-Parquet tops are made with hand-inlaid pieces of solid woods.  All natural solid wood expands and contracts as the atmosphere changes.  Parquet top is not recommend for extremely dry area as that may cause the parquet wood to shrink.

-As with all fine wood furniture, exposure to sun, hot dishes, nail polish, alcohol and moisture will cause damages.  Use pads whenever possible under accessories or while eating/writing.  Avoid placing furniture next to heating vents or in direct sunlight.
