Nichols and Stone is one of the oldest furniture manufacturers in the
US. The company was found in 1857 and is one of the few companies that
still make their furniture in the US (all Nichols and Stone furniture
collection is made in the US except Departures and Main Street-which are
imported).
Nichols and Stone furniture leans toward the traditional style. The
company is probably most well known for their dining room furniture.
Nichols and Stone offers not dining suite, but the chairs and tables are
sold separately to encourage mixing. The best thing about Nichols and
Stone is their finishes. All furniture pieces, with the exception of
their Departures and Main Street collection, are custom finish, which
means you can choose from a large selection of stain finishes, paint
colors and distressing levels. We love doing Nichols and Stone dining
tables in a stain/paint finish combination. They always come out looking
phenomenal.
In addition to dining room furniture, Nichols and Stone also offer
bedroom furniture. Here the pieces are designed to be coordinated and
you can easily match them.
In addition to dining tables and dining chairs, Nichols and Stone also
offers china cabinets, buffets, entertainment center and occasional
pieces such as cocktail tables and side tables.
We love Nichols and Stone for its American classic look, which never
goes out of style. We also like it for the wide range in finish options
and the reasonable price point. The company’s customer service level is
excellent, and any businesses that keep jobs in the US get our vote.
If you are looking for a classic furniture brand, Nichols and Stone is a
good line for you.
The lead time for Nichols and Stone is approximately 8-10 weeks as the
furniture is custom made to order. Keep in mind that the shipping fee
for furniture is expensive as we must use a white glove service, so
buying small items is not encouraged as the shipping charge will exceed
whatever savings we might provide.
